Problem
Why do people feel lonely and isolated in distributed companies and working from home? Now the internet has allowed business to operate globally, the need for social interaction is often neglected.
Process
I discovered a gap in the market. Thinking about where people congregate to interreact in a normal office. Using the idea of taking in and letting go of liquids while in a normal work day
Proposal
The problem will be addressed using a tele connected device for protecting table surfaces and heating your beverage. A signal will be transmitted when a colleague has/is close to finishing their beverage and promote social interaction. This addresses the problem by stimulating interactions even before work mate’s think to interact. This maintains a sense of teamwork, even before people feel lonely.
